Baptist Health outpatient oncology in Lexington, KY is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a full-time, day shift role. You will administer therapeutic doses of radiation, monitor equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment. Requirements include an associate degree, ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy, and BLS.

New grads are welcome with board eligibility. The position offers on-call duties, weekend/holiday coverage, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; ARRT registry in Radiation Therapy.
• State Radiation Operator Certification preferred/required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes ionizing-radiation producing equipment to administer therapeutic doses as prescribed.
• Maintains treatment equipment and records, monitors treatment area and duties as needed.
• Delivers a planned course of radiotherapy safely and accurately.
• Demonstrates use of Linacs and CT simulator and performs patient treatments.
• Provides patient education, scheduling and excellent customer relations.
• Documents and captures charges for procedures.
