Radiation Therapist - $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Purpose:

The Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a radiation therapist to join our ACR-accredited Radiation Oncology team, which includes 6 Radiation Oncologists, 4 Medical Physicists, 4 Medical Dosimetrists, and 16 Radiation Therapists across three campuses.

Equipment and Facilities:

The departments at Mount Carmel Grove City, Mount Carmel East, and Mount Carmel St. Ann's are equipped with 3 Varian TrueBeams, 1 CyberKnife S7, dedicated Canon Large Bore CT Simulators with Respiratory Gating, and treatment planning software including Eclipse, BrachyVision, Accuray Precision, MIM, and Velocity. The Grove City campus also hosts the HDR program with an Elekta Flexitron Afterloader. Our system utilizes a single ARIA Record and Verify database. Other procedures include 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, HyperARC, 4DCT, DIBH, OSMS, and HDR.

What You Will Do:

• Perform simulation, management, and treatment of Radiation Oncology patients, applying ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practice, and maintain professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Oncology program.
• Registered as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) or registry eligible; valid State of Ohio Radiological License required.

Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
