Job summary

ExecuSource is seeking a Radiation Therapist for our client in Anderson, SC. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with weekend call rotation required. The successful candidate will deliver prescribed radiation therapy with a focus on safety and patient-centered care.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members, perform daily QA checks, and maintain accurate patient records while upholding ALARA principles and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Certification by the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy Certification is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments with precision and professionalism.
• Apply radiation physics, ALARA principles, and interaction safeguards.
• Verify physician’s prescription and ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Immobilize patients according to setup instructions for optimal treatment delivery.

Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Anderson, SC, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join their Radiation Oncology team. In this role, you will deliver accurate and effective radiation therapy treatments while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professional practice. You’ll play a key role in patients’ treatment journeys and be an essential member of the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments with precision and professionalism
• Apply principles of radiation physics, protection (ALARA), and interaction
• Verify physician’s prescription and ensure treatment is administered accurately
• Immobilize patients according to setup instructions for optimal treatment delivery
• Operate therapeutic equipment and maintain comprehensive, accurate patient records
• Monitor patient responses and report concerns or complications to clinical staff
• Assist radiation oncologists and nurses as needed during patient care
• Document equipment malfunctions and report to appropriate technical staff
• Supervise students and assist with training efforts
• Perform daily QA checks on treatment machines and document accordingly
• Enter accurate billing codes and maintain charge records for services rendered
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment area and manage supplies for assigned area

Qualifications

• Certification by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association – Required
• ARRT Radiation Therapy Certification – Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team – Required
