Job summary
Labcorp in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Radiation Safety & Scientific Communications Specialist to ensure the safe use of radioactive materials and translate complex science into clear, strategic communications for stakeholders.
You will develop scientific training, support regulatory compliance, ALARA practices, and serve as Radiation Safety Officer locally while aiding Labcorp’s global Central Laboratories network.
Qualifications
- Master’s in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
- 3+ years of experience in radioactivity usage and safety.
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear messaging.
- Experience developing training materials and delivering scientific presentations.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, accurate communications for diverse audiences.
- Design and deliver scientific training programs for internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with radiation protection regulations and ALARA principles.
- Support Radiation Safety Officer duties and the global Central Laboratories network.
