Labcorp is seeking a Radiation Safety & Scientific Specialist to join our Medical Affairs team in Indianapolis, IN! Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
The Radiation Safety & Scientific Communications Specialist is a multidisciplinary role responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant use of radioactive materials while also translating complex scientific information into clear, impactful communications for diverse stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in regulatory compliance, radiation protection, scientific training, and strategic communication. The specialist acts as a liaison between technical teams, leadership, regulatory authorities, and clients, and vendors - ensuring both operational safety and scientific clarity. This position will serve as Radiation Safety Officer locally and as a technical resource supporting the global Central Laboratories network.
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
