Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience including: maintaining master inventory records for sealed radioactive sources and radiation detection equipment.
• Combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for the position as long as the computed percentage is at least 100%.
• Education: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in Medical Physics or Radiological Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining master inventory records for sealed radioactive sources and radiation detection equipment.
• Perform physical checks of Radiation Material (RAM) security to verify correct signage.
• Assist in performing a first-level check of Quality Control (QC) records for imaging modalities.
