Flyttr is seeking an experienced Radiation Safety Officer to lead the site’s radiation safety program at our San Antonio manufacturing facility. You will own licensing, compliance, training and emergency preparedness for Cobalt-60 irradiation systems and X-ray equipment, interfacing with Texas DSHS and other regulators to keep operations safe and compliant.

Formación

• 5+ years in radiation safety with RSO experience.
• Experience with Cobalt-60 sources and X-ray equipment.
• Knowledge of Texas DSHS and OSHA/DOT regs.
• Experience managing radiation safety training.
• Audit-ready recordkeeping experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the designated RSO for licensed materials and X-ray equipment at the San Antonio site.
• Maintain the Radiation Safety Program per regulations and company policy.
• Develop and update policies, procedures, and emergency plans.
• Oversee dosimetry, conduct exposure reviews, and take corrective actions.
• Interface with regulators and auditors during inspections.
