Diamond Technical Services is seeking a motivated Radiation Safety Officer to lead the program in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, regulatory compliance, and building a new market presence.

The ideal candidate will manage safety programs, conduct training, perform audits, and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies while supporting field operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Formación

• Current certification and/or qualifications to serve as a Radiation Safety Officer.
• Strong working knowledge of NRC and/or Agreement State regulations.
• Experience in radiation safety management and startup environments is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s radiation safety program in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure adherence to NRC/Agreement State requirements and company safety policies.
• Conduct radiation safety training for employees and clients.
• Perform audits, inspections, and incident reporting as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.
• Maintain proper documentation, licensing, and compliance records.
• Support field operations as needed, including on-site radiation safety oversight.
