Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL, is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join its Oncology: Radiation team. You will administer Radiation Therapy treatments per physician prescription and assist in tumor localization using imaging techniques, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role offers a full-time schedule with either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, and a weekend call rotation every 4–5 weeks.

Responsabilités

• Administers Radiation Therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescription and treatment plan.
• Reproduces setup in the treatment room using positioning aides.
• Maintains visual and audible contact with patients at all times.
• Reports all errors to the Supervisor, Radiation Oncology.
• Reports all pertinent information regarding patient care to supervisor, Radiation Oncology.
• Maintains accurate treatment records in the IMPAC system.
• Assists the physician in localizing tumor volumes using radiographic techniques.
• Performs daily and weekly QA machine checks.
• Assists in the orientation and education of patients regarding treatments and side effects.
• Instructs and supervises Radiation Therapy students during training at the facility.
• Maintains a safe, clean and sanitary environment for patients and personnel.
