Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Radiation Oncology department. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, serve as the primary coordinator across disciplines, execute orders and treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

The role requires an RN license (TN or compact state) and a nursing diploma, with BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; accepted by AHA or Red Cross.
• RN license from Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current multi-state license (Compact State) prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Execute clinical orders and treatment plans, using professional judgment to translate directives into outcomes.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
