Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) seeks a Staff Registered Nurse: Ambulatory Care to join the expanding ambulatory services. The role focuses on patient-centered care within the Lahey Clinic framework, collaborating with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality nursing services in an ambulatory setting.

The nurse will manage plan of care, provide education, and ensure safe, evidence-based practice across age groups, in alignment with the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-4 year state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification with American Heart Association.
• Acute care medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care in ambulatory settings and coordinate ongoing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to plan and deliver patient care.
• Assess, teach, counsel, and support patients and families.
• Maintain adherence to regulatory and departmental standards and policies.
