Job summary

Ascension Alexian Brothers is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Elk Grove Village, IL area. You will provide direct nursing care on the day shift, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and execute orders while monitoring patient progress.

The role requires Illinois RN licensure and a current BLS certification; prior critical care or oncology experience is preferred. On-site position with PRN scheduling provides opportunities to support patient care across units.

Qualifications

• BLS provider within 30 days of hire date required
• Registered Nurse credential from Illinois Board of Nursing
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
• Experience in critical care, oncology or radiation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following established policies and protocols
• Implement, monitor, record, and communicate patient care plans and condition changes
• Coordinate all disciplines as the primary point of contact for well-coordinated patient care
• Execute physician and nursing orders while coordinating discharge planning needs
