Job summary

Avera Radiation Oncology Aberdeen is seeking a qualified Physician (MD or DO) to provide comprehensive medical evaluation and care for patients within a designated practice area.

The role requires licensed physicians (MD or DO) with board eligibility or board certification, and a DEA license. On-call duties include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed and board certified or board eligible in the state of practice.
• DEA license (Federal Drug Enforcement Admin) required.
• Upon hire qualifications and licensure must be current and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients according to approved medical protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic information and formulate plans of care.
• Maintain patient records with accurate information and documentation.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality patient care and referrals.

Education

Medical Doctor - Board of Medicine Licensed and board certified or board eligible

Doctor of Osteopathy - Board of Medicine Licensed and board certified or board eligible
