Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Manager Radiation Oncology to lead the day-to-day operations of the Radiation Oncology program. You will work with physicians, nursing leadership, and service line leaders to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires strong leadership, change management, and financial stewardship to drive growth and ensure compliance with standards. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's preferred, and a minimum of five years in healthcare leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Five (5) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience required.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience within oncology, radiation oncology, ambulatory services, or related clinical service line required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for all aspects of the Radiation Oncology program, including clinical and support operations, workflow management, patient access, staffing, quality, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Drive program performance and continuous improvement by monitoring operational, clinical, and financial results; address risks and barriers; implement action plans to achieve goals.
• Provide financial stewardship for the department by developing and managing budgets, productivity targets, labor performance, capital needs, and resource allocation.
• Drive program growth and performance by partnering with physicians and leaders to expand access and services, optimize capacity, and improve financial and operational targets.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, cost-effective care in compliance with standards.
• Lead quality, safety, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement by monitoring indicators and implementing best practices.
• Provide people leadership for staffing, recruitment, onboarding, coaching, development, and succession planning.
• Build a high-performing team culture with accountability, mentorship, performance management, and collaboration.
• Partner with Oncology Service Line Director to align department with broader goals.
• Serve as primary operational liaison across radiation oncology and oncology service line stakeholders to ensure coordinated patient experience.
