Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current MA registration.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Five years of recent Radiation Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for Radiation Oncology patients.
• Provide intraprocedural care and timely intervention during radiation procedures.
• Educate patients and families and provide psychosocial support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Mass General Brigham institutions.
• Administer medications safely and monitor for adverse effects.
• Supervise nursing staff on the unit as needed.
