Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver high-dose ionizing radiation under physician prescription, with a high degree of independence and precise record-keeping.

You will operate imaging and treatment equipment, maintain QA processes, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care across diverse oncology cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with certificate in Radiation Therapy.
• Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with radiation therapy equipment and planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiation therapy treatment accurately and safely.
• Operates treatment and planning equipment and prepares prescribed doses.
• Positions and immobilizes patients according to the treatment plan.
• Performs daily QA measures on imaging and treatment equipment.
• Supports emergent case triage and scheduling.
• Collaborates with care team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
