Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital seeks an experienced RN for a PRN role in the Radiation Oncology department, assisting in patient care, education, and coordination in collaboration with the health care team.

Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of RN experience and Epic experience, with a focus on safe, evidence-based practice. PRN position with weekday days and no weekend or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care by assessing and evaluating patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice.
• Monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
• Facilitate the education of patients and families.
• Acts as a resource to the health care team.
