Job summary
Intermountain Health seeks a certified Medical Physicist to lead design, optimization, and QA of radiation treatment plans in a collaborative oncology setting. You will work with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists to ensure accuracy, safety, and quality in patient care.
The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, adoption of new technologies, and continuous improvement in radiation safety and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution; degree verified.
- Licensure in the state of practice as required.
- Certification by ABR or ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans.
- Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures and delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to maintain QA programs.
- Coordinate with RSO to ensure regulatory compliance and radiation safety.
- Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
