Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist to lead design, optimization, and delivery of advanced radiation treatment plans. You will provide expert guidance in treatment planning, QA, and radiation safety, working with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists to enhance patient outcomes.

Under the direction of senior leadership, you will drive regulatory compliance, technology adoption, and continuous improvement across Radiation Oncology services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.
• Certification by ABR or ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
• State licensure in the practice state.
• Colorado sites require RMP/QI/QE(t).

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans to ensure precise and effective patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures, technologies, and treatment delivery.
• Partner with leadership and clinical teams to maintain quality management and QA programs.
• Collaborate with Radiation Safety Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning within Radiation Oncology.
