Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans and provide expert guidance on procedures and delivery. You will work with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders to ensure accuracy, safety, and high-quality care.

You will coordinate QA, regulatory compliance, and the adoption of new technologies while contributing to continuous improvement and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited program.
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology Physics or Medical Physics.
• Professional licensure in the practicing state.
• RAM license eligibility for HDR where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans to ensure precise and effective patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures, technologies, and treatment delivery.
• Partner with Radiation Oncology leadership to maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold radiation safety.
• Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning within the department.
