Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Linear Accelerator Engineer to oversee the assessment, installation, verification, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of radiation oncology systems, including linear accelerators, simulators, and imaging tools.

You will collaborate with medical physicists and clinical staff to ensure safe, effective treatment delivery and support multiple modalities across the James Cancer Hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• CBET or CRES certification preferred.
• 2 years experience of technical support for linear accelerators.
• Knowledge of radiation oncology procedures and treatment modalities.
• Superior knowledge of electronics, digital circuitry, microprocessors and network technology.
• Excellent communication skills.
