Job summary

Southeast Radiation Oncology Group, PA in Salisbury, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support radiation oncology patients at Novant Health Cancer Institute – Rowan. The APP will assist in implementing care plans and managing patients under physician supervision, performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks.

This in-person role requires a Master’s degree in PA or NP and at least 3 years of post-graduate experience, with PA-C/NP credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in PA or NP field.
• PA-C or NP license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience for advanced practice.
• Experience in oncology/radiation oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians on outpatient and inpatient consultations and care plans.
• Explain cancer staging, treatment plans, and radiation therapy side effects to patients.
• Coordinate care with oncology colleagues and schedule follow-ups.
• Attend tumor board and APP meetings.
• Participate in on-call schedule.
