Job summary

NP Now, LLC seeks a Radiation Oncologist in Peoria, IL to join a not‑for‑profit system focused on patient‑centered care within a large trauma center. The physician will treat 30–40 patients daily, plan and deliver SRS/SBRT/IMRT/HDR brachytherapy, and operate Varian Edge/Truebeam linacs and a GE CT simulator.

Position Overview

Radiation Oncologist

Location: Peoria, IL (1 hour from Champaign‑Urbana and 2 hours from Chicago)

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation oncology care for 30–40 patients daily.

• Plan and deliver a range of treatments including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, and HDR Brachytherapy.

• Operate a Varian Edge radiosurgery linear accelerator, a Varian Truebeam linear accelerator, and a GE CT simulator.

• Utilize ARIA radiation oncology records and Eclipse, MIM planning systems.

• Participate in weekly disease‑specific tumor boards and clinical trials.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes dosimetrists, physicists, radiation therapists, RN navigators, oncology social workers, and a dietitian.

• Lead leadership opportunities with a 2‑call schedule.
