Job summary

Britt Medical in Central Illinois near Bloomington is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary team. You will work with a seven-member Radiation Oncology group across multiple Central Illinois locations and lead delivery of state-of-the-art EBRT and advanced radiation techniques.

• Board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist.
• Experience with external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) and advanced techniques such as SBRT/SRS/IMRT.

An established cancer institute in Central Illinois, near Bloomington is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary team.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time Radiation Oncology opportunity
• Practice external beam radiation therapy
• Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome
• Join a collaborative team of 7 Radiation Oncologists across multiple Central Illinois locations
• State-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam® with micro-MLCs and onsite CT simulator and PET/CT
• Treatment capabilities include 3D, IMRT with RapidArc®, SRS, SRT and SBRT
• Active stereotactic radiotherapy program
• EPIC, ARIA and Eclipse treatment planning systems
• Dedicated support from 2 medical physicists, medical dosimetrist, 4 radiation therapists and 2 RNs
• Weekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conference and disease-specific Tumor Boards
• Strong collaboration with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services
• Opportunity for academic appointment through an engineering-focused medical school
• Strong clinical cancer research program with an NCI-supported NCORP grant
• Access to more than 100 open clinical trials across East Central Illinois
