Job summary

Spencer Britt is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join a collaborative cancer institute in Central Illinois near Bloomington. This full-time role centers on external beam radiation therapy using state-of-the-art equipment, with HDR brachytherapy not required.

You will join a team of 7 Radiation Oncologists, with opportunities for academic appointment and active involvement in multicenter trials across the region. A strong clinical and research environment supports growth.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Radiation Oncologist with eligible or board-certified status.
• Experience with 3D, IMRT, SRS, SBRT would be ideal.
• Academic appointment possible through medical school.
• Strong collaboration with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide external beam radiation therapy to patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and QA conferences.
• Contribute to clinical research and NCORP program.
• Collaborate with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services.

An established cancer institute in Central Illinois, near Bloomington is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary team.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time Radiation Oncology opportunity
• Practice external beam radiation therapy; HDR brachytherapy is not required
• Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome
• Join a collaborative team of 7 Radiation Oncologists across multiple Central Illinois locations
• State-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam® with micro-MLCs and onsite CT simulator and PET/CT
• Treatment capabilities include 3D, IMRT with RapidArc®, SRS, SRT and SBRT
• Active stereotactic radiotherapy program
• EPIC, ARIA and Eclipse treatment planning systems
• Dedicated support from 2 medical physicists, medical dosimetrist, 4 radiation therapists and 2 RNs
• Weekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conference and disease-specific Tumor Boards
• Strong collaboration with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services
• Opportunity for academic appointment through an engineering-focused medical school
• Strong clinical cancer research program with an NCI-supported NCORP grant
