Tidelands Health is seeking a Radiation Dosimetrist to develop treatment plans using CT scans, PET/CT fusion software, and planning systems. You will work with Radiation Oncologists and Physicists to deliver prescribed doses while sparing healthy tissue, guiding therapists and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

The Dosimetrist, under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and the Physicist develops treatment plans using the CT scanner, Pet/CT fusion software, Treatment Planning Computer and clinical set-up. Confers with the Radiation Oncologist to give prescribed doses to tumor volume while sparing surrounding tissues. Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist assists and confirms new start treatment set-ups with radiation therapists. Follows all prescribed patient and treatment and safety protocols and completes other duties as assigned all while exhibiting exemplary core customer skills.
