Job summary

Award Staffing is seeking a Radial Saw Operator in Rogers, MN for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) with overtime on Saturdays. This temp-to-hire role requires prior radial saw or metal cutting experience and the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16-inch.

You will measure, mark, and cut metal materials per work orders, read blueprints, verify dimensions, and perform basic setup. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and skill development.

Qualifications

• Previous radial saw or metal cutting saw experience required.
• 1 year of basic machining or machine shop experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16-inch.
• Reading blueprints and production drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a radial saw and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, mark, and cut metal materials according to work orders and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documents.
• Verify measurements using a tape measure with accuracy to 1/16-inch.
• Perform basic machine setup and adjustments.
• Inspect finished materials to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Assist with other shop duties as needed.

About the Opportunity

• Job Title: Radial Saw Operator
• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$23.00/hr
• Location: Rogers, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM
• Overtime on Saturdays as needed.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous radial saw or metal cutting saw experience required.
• 1 year of experience in basic machining or machine shop experience.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16-inch.
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
