Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy. The Radar Test and Analysis Engineer will perform testing tasks using radars and develop models, plans, and reports to solve complex radar challenges.

The role requires analyzing data, applying RF theory, and communicating findings to a broad audience. Entry to master level engineers are sought for iterative development across projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• US citizenship and eligibility for DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Engineer levels range from I to VI with specified experience/degree requirements.
• Experience in RF sensor data analysis or related radar/defense work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test data with signal post-processing and visualization.
• Develop RF system models and radar range equations.
• Calculate RF link budgets and interference levels for test scenarios.
• Prepare test plans, reports, and presentations.
• Track radar data to assess health of radar systems.
