Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Radar Software Engineer to contribute to application-level software for next-generation radar systems, including mission software, data pipelines, and operator tools, with a focus on reliability and performance.

You will work with Nix/NixOS for reproducible environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive software quality through tests, CI/CD, and design reviews.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong C++ skills and knowledge of modern software practices.
Experience with Nix/NixOS for reproducible builds or configurations.
Experience designing and building application-level software with APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain radar software applications.
Build radar data processing workflows and operator interfaces.
Define APIs for component communication and external integrations.
Develop reproducible build, packaging, and deployment workflows with Nix.
Lead performance analysis and optimize data handling.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical decisions.
Collaborate with signal processing, algorithms, systems, and product teams.
Stay updated on radar, distributed systems, and sensor tech.
