Job summary

V2X Inc seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support COBRA DANE radar systems at Shemya Island, Alaska. You will provide technical expertise for radar operations, troubleshooting, and deployment under a demanding remote schedule.

The role requires interpreting manuals and military docs, strong component-level troubleshooting, and effective communication. A Secret clearance is required and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot radar systems at the component level.
• Experience interacting with Radar Diagnostic Software to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for clear reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support radar system and subsystem operations, troubleshooting, and return to service.
• Apply knowledge of radar components to resolve sparing and obsolescence issues.
• Prepare installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions; analyze equipment to establish baseline data.
• Conduct equipment tests for new or upgraded components and review engineering proposals for feasibility.
