Job summary

Raytheon in Woburn, MA is seeking a Systems Engineer I to support X-Band radar technology, performing data analysis and systems integration.

You will work with software development and systems engineering teams, handle test planning and execution, and interact with internal and external customers.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and test planning/execution, verification/validation events, regression testing, and scenario-based analysis.
• Support system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure requirements compliance.
• Execute integration plans and testing activities to milestones.
• Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility.
• Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches and ensure test-setup readiness.
• Ensure test and evaluation processes are conducted per procedures for software/hardware and comply with DoD release/export licensing. Travel ~10%.
