Job summary

Advanced-Sciences-and-Technologies- is seeking a highly skilled engineer based in the United States (New Jersey). The role focuses on functional and radar performance analysis, requirements development, and algorithm design to translate radar needs into software specifications.

You will build high fidelity models, run simulations, and contribute to system design, testing, and certification efforts in an agile environment; DoD security clearance (Secret) is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering, software analysis, requirements development, verification & validation, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and CI/CD tooling.
  • Ability to convert radar requirements into detailed software specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and radar performance analysis, requirements allocation, algorithm development, and interface definition to convert customer radar requirements into detailed software specifications.
  • Develop high fidelity models and run simulations to evaluate radar system performance.
  • Provide individual contributor effort for system design and test for the RCP SCI and support agile systems engineering processes.
  • Execute system verification activities, integration and test, and support certification milestones.
  • Experience with DOORs, git, Confluence Tool Suite.
  • Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; produce clear technical documentation and concise briefings.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in one or more of the following
    • systems engineering
    • software/system analysis
    • requirements development
    • verification & validation
    • Trade studies
    • modeling & simulation
    • integration & test
  • High proficiency in:
    • C++ (or another object oriented language)
    • MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and test automation
    • Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for task automation and CI/CD tooling.

  • Develop high fidelity models and run simulations to evaluate radar system performance.
