Job summary

SAIC seeks a Software Test Engineer to support the GMASS T&E team, focusing on PARCS radar software used in missile warning and defense. The role requires on-site work in Colorado Springs, with responsibility for test coverage, unit test design, and lab debugging in a secure environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, and an Active Secret Clearance, plus experience with Unix/Windows and testing backend/frontend software.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for code test coverage of software modifying the PARCS radar baseline.
• Designs, develops, and documents unit tests for PARCS release testing.
• Aids developers in lab tests and debugging in a classified lab at Peterson Space Force Base.
• Collaborates with SMEs in planning, design, and testing of electronic data processing systems for PARCS software.
• Develops technical solutions to complex testing problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
• Participates in troubleshooting to resolve issues and coordinates with systems engineers.
