Actalent is seeking a Signal Processing Software Engineer to contribute to radar software across low-level signal processing to high-level tracking algorithms. You will develop implementations for virtual machines, embedded systems, and interfaces with MCUs and FPGAs, plus unit tests and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and signal processing.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Linux, DSP, FFT and related radar/communication topics.
• Strong fundamentals in programming, networking and parallel processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar algorithm software for VM, embedded systems and other platforms.
• Build interfaces with embedded systems, MCUs and FPGAs; create CLI tools and benchmarks.
• Develop unit and integration tests for new and existing codebases.
• Improve functions using distributed messaging frameworks and radar UIs.
• Document code and produce product documentation (PowerPoint, Word).
• Implement performance improvements in existing software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprints).
• Utilize Git, GitLab, Jira and Doxygen for code management and docs.
• Collaborate on projects and contribute to software architecture discussions.
