Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore seeks a Radar Modeling Simulation & Analysis Systems Engineer to accelerate capability delivery through advanced models and simulations of platforms, sensors, and interactions. This on-site role supports the Foundational Systems Engineering team in Linthicum, MD.

The position requires C/C++, Python, and MATLAB expertise, with experience in RF/EOIR/communications simulations, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance and SAP access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Math or related field with 2 years of experience (or Master’s with 0 years).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Final U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain SAP access.
• Experience with programming in C/C++, Python, Bash on Linux and Windows.
• Experience in simulations of RF, EOIR, Communications or related systems; DSP and MATLAB experience.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, Simulation, Experimentation, and Analysis of advanced systems using OO design and data structures.
• Develop large-scale data analytics and statistics; apply design of experiments for system performance.
• Integrate MS&A with flight software; collect/analyze lab or flight test data and verify models meet requirements.
• Produce publication-quality reports to support Verification, Validation, and Accreditation.
• Innovate to improve MSE&A products and perform operational and mission analyses.
• Develop/modify simulation frameworks and visualization tools; model environments and conduct trade studies.
