Job summary

Centuria is seeking an Electronics Technician for the National Weather Service ROC in Norman, Oklahoma. The role focuses on maintenance, testing, and 24/7 technical support for the WSR-88D radar network.

You will complete a year-long training program to become a subject matter expert on radar hardware, achieve hotline certification, and be prepared to travel for field work. Onsite, full-time position with Public Trust clearance support.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent required.
• Experience with radar systems or complex electronic hardware is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electromechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Complete a year-long training program to become SME on WSR-88D hardware components.
• Obtain WSR-88D Hotline Certification for expert support.
• Travel up to 25% to CONUS/OCONUS field sites for testing and repairs.
• Perform depot-level maintenance on core WSR-88D systems and subsystems.
• Provide 24/7/365 maintenance hotline support to field personnel.
