Wayve in Sunnyvale is seeking a Radar Lead to serve as a technical expert within the hardware team, responsible for integrating high-quality radar data into the AV2.0 driver model and developing radar data quality guidelines for product offerings.

You will collaborate with software and model teams on debugging, testing, and building test capabilities, while analyzing radar technology advances and maintaining data quality standards across the project.

Formación

• Proven experience working with automotive radar technologies and their integration into software-driven systems.
• Experience in radar data quality control, including calibration, resolution, noise handling, and range/velocity/angular accuracy considerations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Team player effective at cross-functional collaboration with teams of varying technical backgrounds.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate the impact of sensor data on model performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously monitor and analyze advancements in automotive radar technologies and signal processing.
• Develop and enforce guidelines that ensure radar point clouds and sensor data fed into models maintain high quality standards.
• Provide domain expertise for integrating radar sensor data into the AV2.0 driver model.
• Build and enhance test frameworks to evaluate the impact of different radar inputs on model performance.
• Work closely with software and model development teams to ensure radar data is processed and utilized correctly within the driver model.
