Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a radar systems engineer in Huntsville, AL, to support integration, testing, and analysis for missile defense radar systems. You will integrate new capabilities, validate performance, and work with software teams in a collaborative environment.
The role requires MATLAB expertise, Python data modeling, and an active Secret Clearance, with prior MDA experience and familiarity with AN/TPY-2 or SBX radar platforms. On-site work in a defense-focused setting is expected.
Qualifications
- 2-10 years of professional experience in radar or missile defense domains.
- Strong MATLAB experience and analysis tool development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- Experience with AN/TPY-2 or SBX radar systems.
- Radar HWIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) experience.
- Python experience for data modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with fire control systems and simulation frameworks.
- Experience with missile defense testing and risk reduction.
