Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Software Signal Processing Engineer to join our radar program in Colorado Springs. This role focuses on developing DSP software for identifying and tracking objects in geosynchronous orbit, with collaboration across design teams and hardware engineers.

Required: active Secret clearance, 2 years with a Bachelor's (or 0 with a Master's), and proficiency in C++, Java, Python and CUDA, plus Linux, RF signal processing, and GPU optimization.

Qualifications

• 2 years with Bachelor's in Science; 0 years with Master's.to be read as equivalency
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required
• Experience with C++, Java, Python and CUDA
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with RF Signal Processing
• Experience with GPU optimization
• Experience with NVIDIA MatX library
• Experience with AI Tooling
• Experience with high side development and processes

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs applications software and systems
• Collaborates with hardware engineers in planning and development of data processing systems
• Analyze user needs and design solutions; develop compilers, utilities, and operating systems
• Develop and optimize radar signal processing algorithms and pipelines (DSP) using toolchains
• Utilize GPU acceleration (CUDA) for performance-critical workloads and analytics
