Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to Radar Digital Products by designing and integrating COTS computing and networking hardware. You will work with product leads on radar processing and network system design, selecting servers, storage, and networking components, and prototyping in the lab.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience, with Linux/Unix familiarity and hands-on testing in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in hardware/software with Unix/Linux.
• Experience taking system design concepts to complete COTS-based hardware designs and verification.
• Lab environment experience with standard test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and development of systems using COTS computing and networking products.
• Radar processing and network system design (X86-based processors).
• Research and select servers, workstations, storage, and networking hardware; configure BIOS and OS.
• Prototype and integrate systems in the lab.
