Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR, seeks a Radiologic Technology licensed technician to support the Cath Lab or Special Procedures. The role requires ARRT registration and eligibility for MRI or CT registry, with work under Cardiologist/Radiologist and Manager – Vascular Imaging.

This is a safety sensitive position with exposure to radiological hazards and includes significant physical requirements. On-site work in a hospital setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Registry eligible or enrolled in MRI or CT program.

Responsibilities

• Education
• Must be licensed in Radiologic Technology and must be registered in ARRT.
• Experience
• Registry eligible or enrolled in an MRI or CT program.
• Physical

• Exposure to radiological hazards-occupational levels. Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates x-ray equipment, computer, life support, equipment, film processing equipment. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
