West Tennessee Healthcare in Paris, TN, seeks a Radiology MRI Technologist to perform and monitor MRI procedures on an assigned shift. You will work under the Unit Coordinator MRI supervision and may be called back or required to overtime.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, processing images with PACS, educating patients and families, screening for MRI contraindications, preparing the room and supplies, and contributing to a positive departmental climate while adhering to quality

• Skills and proficiency in the technical field of Radiologic Technology. Such proficiency is acquired through completion of a formal education program in Radiologic Technologic (ARRT) that is accredited by AMA.

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for performing and monitoring MRI procedures. Under the supervision of the Unit Coordinator MRI, responsible for supervising and performing MRI procedures on as assigned shift. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Skills and proficiency in the technical field of Radiologic Technology. Such proficiency is acquired through completion of a formal education program in Radiologic Technologic (ARRT) that is accredited by AMA.

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:

• Current CPR certification.

• Registered or registry eligible with ARRT but must be registered with ARRT within one year of employment.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in performing MRI.
