1200 MH-Memphis Hospitals is seeking a Rad Tech I to operate imaging equipment performing procedures on patients. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards and policies while providing top-notch customer service.
The position requires a Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology and certifications in Radiologic Technology and Basic Life Support. Rad Tech I is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures on a specified patient population.
6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.; Friday–Sunday.
There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this job, except that the incumbent may occasionally demonstrate various job responsibilities to other Associates and observe/instruct student technologists.
The physical activities include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. Exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs of force frequently. Requires close visual acuity and involves frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact. May be exposed to patient body fluids and hazardous materials. Must react quickly to emergency situations.
