Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. in the Winchester area seeks an Outpatient Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems with emphasis on image quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities include patient assessment before, during, and after procedures; proper positioning; IV contrast as needed; RIS/EMR documentation; and training staff and students in related imaging and bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and Virginia state license.
• Current AHA BLS-HCP certification.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Duties

• Operate radiographic, computed radiography (CR), digital radiography (DR), and PACS systems to capture quality images.
• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Position patients accurately and perform procedures such as IV contrast injections and urinary catheterizations.
• Utilize RIS and electronic medical records for documentation.
• Train students and staff; cross-train on laboratory phlebotomy and perform EKGs as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification and Virginia state license.
• Current AHA BLS-HCP certification.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
