Plumas District Hospital is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform radiographs, CT scans, and mammography as needed. The role requires independent work within a collaborative team, with standby and callback after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications include an AS degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and a California CRT license, plus BLS CPR. CT experience is preferred and mammography training is available within the first year.

Responsible for performing quality radiographs, CT scans, and/or mammography as needed. Must be able to work independently, yet be a collaborative team member. Position requires standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback. Responsible for other duties assigned, which may include, but not be limited to protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and a resource for insurance related issues.

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Compensation For Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

• Base Rate $45.74-$65.21 per hour
• Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay
• Part-Time, benefited
• This position is needed to work weekends. Scheduling options are available to work two, three or four days per week to meet this need.
• Standby hours are required.

Education

• AS degree in radiologic technology, with a current certificate of registry by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT).
• Must hold and maintain a current BLS CPR Certification, California License in Radiology Technology (CRT)

Experience

• CT experience.
• Newly graduated technologists will be trained in CT and/or Mammography.
• Passing the CT and/or Mammography registry will be required within one year. Two years if doing both.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have a good working knowledge of radiography
• Responsible for standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback, with arrival to the hospital not longer than 30 minutes after initial callback communication.
• Responsible for other duties assigned, which may include, but not be limited to protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and a resource for insurance related issues.
