St. Tammany Parish Hospital is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time position focused on providing direct care to adult and geriatric patients. Applicants should possess valid Louisiana state licensure or CCI-RCIS certification, alongside a current Basic Life Support certification. The role requires full-time availability with participation in on-call rotations for 24-hour cath lab support.
Responsible and accountable for the direct care of adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures by functioning as a scrub assistant or monitor tech. This professional will work with multidisciplinary teams within Cardiovascular Services and St. Tammany Parish Hospital to promote excellence in cardiovascular care.
Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours. Full‑time availability required.
Good physical health is required. Responsibilities include standing, sitting or walking for long periods, lifting at least 50 pounds, and working in a moderate level of noise. Physical effort: constant (67%-100%) for hearing and seeing; frequent (34%-66%) for lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, reaching, handling, and talking; occasional (1%-33%) for climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, crouching, or crawling.
