Job summary

St. Tammany Health System is seeking professionals for direct patient care within the cardiovascular department. Responsibilities include functioning as a scrub assistant or monitor tech during diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult and geriatric patients. Qualifications

• 6 months cath lab experience or 1 year of invasive radiology experience.
• Must hold a valid Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license or be a trained Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
• Must have current BLS certification from an ILCOR related course.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing procedures.
• Function as scrub assistant or monitor tech in multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote excellence in cardiovascular care.

Education

Valid Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license

BLS certification through ILCOR approved courses
