Job summary

Saint Bernards Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technician for the Cath Lab/Special Procedures. You will perform imaging procedures under the direction of Cardiologists and Radiologists, with supervision from the Vascular Imaging Manager.

The role requires ARRT licensure and active state registration, plus eligibility or enrollment in MRI or CT training. This is a full-time, day-shift position with on-call required and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registered in ARRT.
• Registry eligible or enrolled in MRI or CT program.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of technician functions for the Cath Lab or Special Procedures under the Cardiologist/Radiologist and the supervision of the Manager - Vascular Imaging.
• Operates x-ray equipment, related imaging and processing equipment as directed.
• Requires independent judgment, integrity, and initiative.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Required

Must be licensed in Radiologic Technology and must be registered in ARRT.

Experience

Registry eligible or enrolled in an MRI or CT program.

Physical

Exposure to radiological hazards-occupational levels. Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates x-ray equipment, computer, life support, equipment, film processing equipment. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
