Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR seeks a Radiologic Technician for Cath Lab or Special Procedures. Requires ARRT license and registry in Radiologic Technology; MRI/CT program enrollment or eligibility preferred.

You will perform technician duties under Cardiologist/Radiologist supervision and the Manager – Vascular Imaging, exercising independent judgment and professionalism in a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Registry eligible or enrolled in MRI or CT program.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a hospital environment.

• Perform technician functions for the Cath Lab or Special Procedures under physician supervision.

Job description

• Must be licensed in Radiologic Technology and must be registered in ARRT.
• Experience
• Registry eligible or enrolled in an MRI or CT program.
• Physical
• Exposure to radiological hazards-occupational levels. Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates x-ray equipment, computer, life support, equipment, film processing equipment. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
