Job summary

Atlanta Housing in Atlanta, GA seeks a RAD Program Manager to lead the Rental Assistance Demonstration program under the VP’s supervision. You will assess the agency’s portfolio, work with private developers, and drive conversion and financing aligned with RAD guidelines.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years in RAD program administration; a master’s degree or PMP is preferred. Offices in Atlanta with regular site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy or business administration or related field
• Master’s degree or Project Management Professional certification is preferred
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; computer literate; at least two years RAD experience
• RAD training program with certification completed

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with internal divisions to ensure RAD compliance and coordination.
• Works with private owners to promote and assess RAD projects and manage approvals.
• Identifies properties suited for RAD via financial and conditions review.
• Prepares initial RAD applications and amendments per guidelines.
• Partners with underwriting and developers to craft financing plans and budgets.
• Distributes required notices and conducts resident meetings per RAD guidelines.
• Acts as HUD contact for RAD questions and provides weekly senior updates.
• Presents RAD projects to committees and the Board for approval.
• Manages CHAP issuance and conversion process; coordinates construction phase.
• Coordinates with RAD Construction Oversight Manager for updates.
• Facilitates regular RAD team meetings to track pipeline and address issues.
• Keeps abreast of RAD policy changes and assesses impacts on current projects
